The Solu Khumbu Everest region the famed world heritage site. Many world travelers declare Nepal the most beautiful country on the planet. A connotation of great challenge and achievements has been one of the most popular destinations for both treks and climbers since 1950s. What is the attraction of the Khumbu Himal? For one it has the highest peak on earth Mount Everest the Nepalese call her Sagarmatha 8848m, Mother Goddess of the world or Chomolungma. This trail is classic approach to the Mt Everest since the route was taken by Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay, the first summiteers of the Everest on 29th May 1953, although the route starts from the lower belt this trek has all the charm of the trails can be from Jiri or Lukla even though the early part of the trek is quite strenuous with a series of ascents and descents but through many interesting small and big Villages and Monasteries on the way. Actually it is one of the most delightful walk in Nepal. This is the areas where the ever smiling people called SHERPAS as who are the renowned for Mountaineering the first expedition ascents to Everest since 1921st have been employed on expedition and trekking.

We have our typical home villages and culture in and around the magnificent snow peaks of these areas. One can also have an exposure to the strong belief of the Sherpas on the Himalayan Buddhism through the visits to various Buddhist Monasteries and the Sherpa Villages. Your exploration may lead to the discovery of even YETI Pangboche Monastery maintains even today what is claimed to be the Scalp of the YETI Skull in Khumjung but it has been stolen from the Monastery. If that is not enough it boasts many other giants including Mt Lho-Tse, Cho-Oyu, and the most beautiful mountain in Khumbu region, Mt Ama Dablam to name a few these are mountains of unique character and beauty rarely found elsewhere. These giants lay the homeland of the Sherpa Peoples the Khumbu. These rugged mountain valleys are home of the world highest settlements Dingboche 4410m and Chhukung Village 4730m and above the yak plays a vital role in the life of the inhabitants of these high altitude environments. Livestock breeding and trade with the bordering Tibet and Tourism are the traditional sources without having to set foot on snow or ice.

As this trek passes through high altitude area, it requires maximum acclimatization. We will be proceeding slowly which will give us plenty of opportunities to visit the Monasteries and the Sherpa homes are welcome to you any time during your trip to Solu-Khumbu Trek regions on the way. Actually most of our trekking and expedition crews come from Solu-Khumbu eastern Nepal.
